For more than four decades, she has created books, curriculum, stories, and practical resources that help people move beyond blame and confusion toward understanding, compassion, and possibility. Her work draws on family experience, a lifelong love of creativity, the healing companionship of dogs, and a deep faith in the sacred worth of every person.

Better Endings New Beginnings began giving a voice to the voiceless in 1986. Karl and I chose to write and publish not merely to tell stories, but to foster understanding, spark compassion, and promote inclusion. Jodee has done an amazing job working with my two teenage sons who have disabilities and their dogs. She is patient, kind and very youth-focused. Her classes help my boys work on executive function and social skills while teaching their dogs new skills. Anchored by the documentary Embraced and the novel Embracing Zak by Jodee Kulp, the project blends film, literature, and digital platforms to share authentic information drawn from real-life neurodiversity stories and foster empathy. By creating the first feature film with a main character with FASD and engaging audiences across multiple media, Embraced Movement effectively hopes to reduce stigma, educate the public, and advocate for greater inclusion and understanding of individuals with FASD and other neurodiversities. It features interactive learning modules, expert Q&As, and peer storytelling to offer evidence-based strategies and encourage self-care. By combining guidance, emotional support, and doABLE ideas, Caregiver Compassion Compass empowers caregivers to find "Minutes to Win It" as they navigate challenges and celebrate small victories with love and laughter.

After meeting RJ Formanek in 2013, Kulp, a graphic designer and advocate for individuals with FASD, launched a campaign in 2014 to increase visibility of living experience, enhance a global voice, and celebrate diversity. She provided social media presence, branding, graphics, and educational resources, empowering global participation in events. Her leadership transformed Red Shoes Rock into a worldwide grassroots movement, fostering collaborations with advocacy groups and health organizations. The initiative now raises FASD awareness through campaigns that illuminate landmarks and unite communities.
